Saturation 05:58
What’s gotten into me? It seems as though my mind can bleed It’s seems my mind can bleed Someday I don’t believe Stars in my head above these thoughts don’t seem to fit like gloves They never fit like gloves So I’ll just walk alone Alone in bed my thoughts start to reel And now it’s really real I think it’s really real Looking to the skies I don’t have to think of reasons why I’ll think of reasons why I’ll think of reasons why What’s it for if not to find you? You’re wound so tight I want to bind you I want to string you up and climb you What’s it for if not to find you? What’s gotten into you? Your insides looking black and blue They’re looking black and blue Your thoughts are tried and true Prayed to a force above the results were just not enough And now you watch the screen And now we watch the screen Alone at night my mind starts to reel I never think it’s real Now is this really real? Look into your eyes Don’t have to think of reasons why I’ll make up reasons why I’ll make up reasons why I walk the streets alone Looking for what I don’t know It’s something in my gut I can’t put my finger on it I’m tired of being poor I want to even the score I walk into a store and buy myself a weapon of war What’s it for? What’s it for? What’s it for? What’s gotten into us? We try to scrub it off like rust We scrub it off like rust It eats away at us We walk it off but the distance is never enough The walking’s not enough The walking’s not enough Alone at night the haunts start to reel And now it’s really real I think it’s really real Look into your eyes Don’t have to make up reasons why I’ll make up reasons why I’ll make up reasons why I learned to swim by throwing myself into the sea…

Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh I have a mirror But it seems useless It doesn’t see what’s on the inside… It doesn’t see what’s on the inside There’s a train that’s in front of you It approaches you don’t know what to do A happy couple sits next to you Raise your glass to obscure the view That’s your adventure It’s a feeling you’re used to That’s your amusement It’s a pain you’ve grown used to Indoors you never noticed I saw the sunlight It started to make me sick Forever ever you asked me I told you around midnight you could never see That’s your adventure It’s a feeling you’re used to That’s your amusement It’s a pain you’ve grown used to Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh Whoa oh oh I have a mirror but it seems useless it doesn’t see what’s on the inside… it doesn’t see what’s on the inside There’s a train that’s in front of you It approaches you don’t know what to do A happy couple sits next to you Raise your glass to obscure the view That’s your adventure It’s a feeling you’re used to That’s your amusement It’s a pain you’ve grown used to That’s your adventure It’s a feeling you’re used to That’s your amusement It’s a pain you’ve grown used to

Foot Fetish 05:18
We’re using the full power of the federal government to defeat the virus and that’s what we’ve been doing. Last week we secured an initial $8.3 billion from Congress for the coronavirus and that was quickly done and very efficiently done. I want to thank all members of Congress. Yesterday I declared a national emergency, which was a very big deal because it opened up avenues that we would never be able to open up without it and it will make more than $50 billion available to us immediately and disaster relief funds Mr. President: Are you still planning to get tested sir? There are many people right now that are rushing to Costco They’re rushing to grocery stores and filling up their baskets Is that the way to lead? Mr. President: Are you still planning to get tested sir? Yes exactly There are so many people right now that are rushing to Costco They’re rushing to grocery stores all over the country They’re filling up their baskets Is that the right move? This thing that you see It’s not the real me It’s not even close To a facsimile Hand in hand You spread holocaust She’s got tired feet thirteen miles long He seeks relief in his favorite songs They can walk together or they can kill alone You are what you do When things come unglued You are what you do When everything falls on you It’s a sticky situation And no one knows who’s home They both know a creep He’s a reptile born again Sometimes he’s too high You wish the drugs would do him in But he won’t ruin their day they’ll send him away You’re not what you spill When you’re sliding downhill You are where you creep When you could be home asleep So that’s something that we should talk about. I was honored to see that the stock market, you were mostly there with us, set a record in a short period of time, over a 45 minute period that we had the press conference yesterday in the Rose Garden. That was a record, all time record. I think we should do one of them every day perhaps. How about five times a day? We’ll do one five times a day. But that was something to watch and I had no idea. We walked back. I said, “So how did that work out?” They said, “Sir, you just set a new record in the history of the stock market.” So that was pretty good. Is your temperature normal Mr. President? Was your temperature normal Mr. President? Perfectly normal Was your temperature normal Mr. President? Perfectly normal heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh

Family 03:55
911 What’s the address of the emergency? Yes ma’am I just shot my daughter and shot all my grandkids And I’ll be sitting on my step And when you get here I’m gonna shoot myself So every one of ‘em are dead Every one of ‘em are dead Yup Yup Descends the stairs and waves her hand She reaches the landing, she grows weary Her face is wasting and so drawn They’re playing games out on the lawn Love your family So what kind of gun do you have? Love your family It doesn’t matter what kind of gun I got - they’re all dead Love your family And then when you get here I’ll shoot myself Love your family And then you figure out what kind of gun it is Abandoned tears in a luncheonette You’re thinking that your father knows best You see the twilight through the haze Figure out what kind of gun it is She’s reaching out for better days Love your family You figure out what kind of gun it is Love your family You figure out what kind of gun Love your family Love your family I don’t want to hear it ma’am I’m done with every fucking thing Bring the mother fuckers out here that’s all Because all the kids are dead in the house Bring the mother fuckers out here All the kids are dead in the house I don’t want to hear it ma’am I’m done with every fucking thing How many people? Six kids, one adult Six kids and one adult ? Yeah And one of ‘ems a baby One of ‘ems a baby Descends the stairs and waves her hand She reaches the landing she grows teary Her face is wasting and so drawn They’re playing games out on the lawn Love your family All the kids are dead in the house Love your family All the kids are dead Love your family All the kids are dead in the house Love your family All the kids are dead Love your family All the kids are dead Love your family Kids are dead Love your family All the kids are dead Love your family One of ‘ems a baby

Drug Store 04:36
Well worn is the soap you hold Those paths are now overgrown We tried not to let those things grow We try not to let those things go We used to talk about everything and not hold back We used to talk about everything and not hold back But now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Well worn are the hands we hold We act as if time’s too slow Love can be a choir wind The fall is what silences it all in In the dark I fester In the light I’m destroyed In the dark I fester In the light I’m destroyed Now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Take heed on the path you tread So lonesome and you’re not alone The silhouette falls just like ashes Forgetting what you’ve already known If I go forward Follow me If I hesitate Push me If I go forward Follow me If I hesitate Push me! Now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Now when we talk It’s only okay It’s nothing like I thought I had remembered Nothing like I thought I had remembered I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember Like a tattoo you got under my skin Like a tattoo you got under my skin Like a tattoo you got under my skin Like a tattoo you got under my skin

Infatuation for this place Insulate myself from space to space A voice comes through from the past What I hate now will it collapse As I walk the forest edge There’s a voice that screams again You’re cold now will you wear my coat Outside it shines we’ve learned by rote I can see the car crash peel your body from all forms (I forgot to look both ways) The thought fades away You give yourself cigarette burns (You can’t talk to me that way) Shelter amongst strangers Does anyone ever learn? (I’m gonna make you pay) I tried to pull the blade out, but that knife still turns (This is not my day) To hear What I forgot Diseased By what I sought Evacuation from this place Insulate myself from space to space A voice comes through from the past What I hate now Will it collapse? about

The second album from New York’s ISOLATION SOCIETY.

ISOLATION SOCIETY is a three piece band from New York, made up of Julie Hair (3 Teens Kill 4): bass, samples and voice, Richard Hutchins (Live Skull, Art Gray Noizz Quintet, Shilpa Ray): drums, and Ian Wilson (Star Spangles): guitar and voice.

Content driven songs utilizing samples drawn from popular culture, combine with lyrics about the human condition and personal politics. The sonic element draws from the diverse musical and influences that each band member brings to the table.

Isolation Society: Dead Cat Bounce out now!

“Isolation Society is a modern day gothic New York City noise band who foreshadowed our current reality of social distancing and isolation. I love the way Julie, Ian and Rich combine drum and bass grooves, incongruous guitar and vocal harmonies, with samples and disturbing lyrics to create pensive pop songs. The opening accusations of “Decisions”, layered vocals and subway sounds of “Moisture”, and chaotic Corona Virus media musings of “Foot Fetish” incorporate samples from the noise of our lives. Isolation Society references art and popular culture while questioning the status quo.I’m a big fan of that.

The trio have bona fide connections to well known seminal New York City bands from the 80’s and 90’s including Live Skull, 3 Teens Kill 4 and Star Spangles . . . but this ain’t no history lesson or nod to the past. This record ‘Dead Cat Bounce’ is a consumate ride into the present with ten discrepant tracks. Have a listen and pick your poison.”
